APACHE COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES DISTRICT
HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING
January 5, 2016

1. Discussion and possible approval of Intergovernmental Agreement ADHS16-097960 Healthy People Healthy Communities, Amendment #1 which replaces the Agreement Price Sheet, in the amount $334,710. No match is required.

2. Discussion and possible approval of the Lease Agreement with Burnham Mortuary from January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016. The Lease consists of floor space in the mortuary and use of the embalming area, utilizing Health District funds.

THE APACHE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS,
January 5, 2016

1.  County Manager: Discussion and possible approval of CONSENT ITEMS: All items indicated by an asterisk (*) will be handled by a single vote as part of the consent agenda, unless a Board Member or the County Manager objects at the time the agenda item is called.

County Manager/Clerk of the Board:

*A. Request approval of demands as distributed to the Apache County Board of Supervisors between December 15, 2015 to January 5, 2016. Demands are payments made or to be made, by the County. Specific details of the demands may be requested through the County public record request process.

*B. Request approval of minutes dated December 15, 2015.

Community Development:

*C. Request appointment of Dan Muth as an alternate to the Planning and Zoning Commission representing Commissioners from District I and II; appoint Mike Bragiel as an alternate to the Planning and Zoning Commission representing District I and II; and appoint Mike Bragiel and Dan Muth to serve on the Board of Adjustments and Appeals.

2.  County Manager: Discussion and possible authorization to re-appoint Steve Nicoll to a six year term to the Apache County Industrial Development Authority, to expire March 5, 2022.

3.  Treasurer’s Office: Discussion and possible approval of a three (3) year contract between Apache County and Real Auction for services related to the online tax lien auction.

4.  Emergency Management: Discussion and possible authorization to accept an increase to the Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) #EMW-2015-EP-00048 in the amount of $32,008.00 for a total of $167,182.00. The additional funding will be used to purchase a Mass Notification System for Apache County.

5. County Attorney’s Office: Following a possible executive session for consultation with the County Attorney’s Office to instruct attorneys regarding pending litigation pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.03, discussion and possible approval to authorize the Arizona Attorney General’s Office to represent Apache County’s interests in Case No. TX2015-000921 between UNS Energy Corporation and Tucson Electric Power versus Arizona Department of Revenue and various Arizona Counties, including Apache County, and relating to certain centrally valued property located in Maricopa County.

At the close of the call to the public, Board members may not respond to any comments but may respond to criticism, ask staff to review a matter, or ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda.
