Dispatch Duties

Starting salary: $26,603 per year

Typical duties: Maintain routine communication between dispatch and the public, city, county, state and federal law enforcement agencies, medical emergency services and fire departments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have high school diploma/GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Able to hear normal conversation
  • Able to speak and understand the English language fluently
  • Must pass a background check including NCIC
  • Will be fingerprinted and submit to urinalysis
  • Shift work required
