NEW: RECORDED PLATS & SURVEYS:
Effective January 2014, the Apache County Recorder’s Office will return the recorded Plats & Surveys to the Submitter and will no longer store the original document(s). The Company that has worked with the Recorder’s office now has the technology to store the recorded Plats & Surveys on 35mm microfiche with the capacity to reproduce legible copies which meets the Arizona Records Retention requirements. Therefore, the Recorder’s Office will no longer need to store the original Plats & Surveys. Additionally, the Recorder’s Office will be able to accept recording of Plats & Surveys electronically through one of its E-Vendors. The Surveyor can also submit an electronic copy of the plat or survey to the Recorder’s Office. The format of the electronic image file must be a black and white compressed tiff file with 300 dpi resolution.
