NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING AND AGENDA OF
THE APACHE COUNTY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
February 02, 2017 @ 1:00pm
The Planning and Zoning Commission meeting will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Board of Supervisors Room, located in the County Annex Building, 75 W. Cleveland Street in St. Johns. The working lunch session to discuss the following agenda will be held at 12:00 pm with discussion beginning at 12:20 pm in the Board Room prior to the public meeting. Work session will include those listed under work session and items of business listed below.
1. Discussion of the agenda items below
2. Discussion about updating the Comprehensive Plan, setting a schedule for creating the plan, and general principles that should guide the planning process.
3. Discussion and update about amending parts of the Zoning Ordinance, including the Lot Combination and Reversion-to-Acreage ordinance.

Item #2 Roll Call/Determination of a Quorum
Item #3 Call to the Public (Forms must be turned in at this time). Individuals may address the Commission on any relevant issue for an amount of time determined by the Chairman. At the close of the call to the public, Commission members may not respond to any comments but may respond to criticism, ask staff to review a matter, or ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda.
Item #4 Approval of the minutes from the January 5, 2017 meeting Minutes
Item #5 Public hearing, consideration and possible recommendation for approval of an application allowing Monica Stauffer to amend the Final Plat for Alpine Village East subdivision, adjusting lot lines to combine lots 105 and 106 to accommodate a remodel/expansion of an existing cabin. No right a ways or easements will be extinguished, relinquished or abandoned. Property is located near Alpine, AZ. 101-65-105 and 101-65-106.

Item #6 Public hearing, consideration and possible recommendation for approval of an application allowing Verizon Wireless to construct a 150’ wireless communications tower along with associated radio equipment on the ground in a 50’ x 50’ chain-link compound. Property is located near St. Johns, AZ. A.P.N 108-37-027.
