The Sheriff is pleased to have been able to dedicate this sub-station in memory of Commander Steven Brown, who passed away in March after a battle with brain cancer. Commander Brown served the office of the Sheriff and the citizens of Apache County honorably and with great dedication. He volunteered with the youth of his community, lead and coordinated search and rescue efforts and has been recognized as a leader and role model in his local community. His service and dedication reflects well upon the Apache County Sheriff’s Office and the law enforcement community as a whole.

Sheriff Dedman is grateful to the Apache County Board of Supervisors for granting his request to dedicate this substation in memory of Commander Brown’s service and commitment to the citizens of Apache County, and it was his privilege and honor to oversee the dedication service.
