The Sheriff's Administrative Division consists of the Chief Deputy, the Sheriff's Executive Assistant, 2 Administrative Sergeants, the Evidence Technician, an Administrative Coordinator and three clerical staff members.
The Chief Deputy is responsible for coordinating and supervising the day-to-day operations of the Sheriff's Office, similar to the duties of a corporate Chief Operating Officer.
The Sheriff's Executive Assistant coordinates the Sheriff's schedule and serves as his secretary. The Administrative Coordinator supervises the business office activities of the Sheriff's Office. This includes maintaining and tracking employee time sheets, accounts payable, invoice and inventory tracking.
The Administrative Sergeants are responsible for supervising the Evidence and Property Section as well as the Civil Process Division. One sergeant coordinates deputy training, background investigations, applicant testing, medical screening and supervises the Evidence and Property room. The other Administrative Sergeant serves as the agency Public Information Officer, supervises the Civil process section, and fields complaints and questions from the public, the media and other governmental agencies.
