The Emergency Operations Center which is located in St. Johns is staffed and are currently supporting first responders, partners and municipalities with Apache County.

Apache County Emergency Operations Center is coordinating the following efforts.

The community of Greer, AZ is currently without power due to heavy overnight snow & downed power lines. Efforts are being made to plow the road into Greer so residents and visitors can leave and to let power crews gain access.

The power is also out in Nutrioso and Alpine, AZ. Apache County Emergency Management is working with ADOT, Navapache Electric and the Apache County Roads Department to gain access to these communities.

Crews are working heavy snow and low visibility. Many power lines are sagging across roads in southern Apache County under the weight of the snow.

Evacuation shelters are being identified in case there is a need.
