Mission Statement:
To provide individuals of Apache County the education, job training, and personal growth opportunities necessary for career development and self sufficiency.
The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) is a federal employment and training program primarily designed to serve disadvantaged adults and youth. Each local Workforce area offers services networked with local community resources and Partners, and is designed to meet the needs of their locality.

Core Services, Including job search assistance, labor market information, resume development and access to the internet, telephone and copy machine for job applications are available. Intensive and Training services are available to income eligible applicants. Those applicants who would be considered a Priority for Service would be: Veterans and their spouses, Displaced homemakers, older workers, recipients of public assistance, the homeless, disabled, high school drop outs, offenders, and those who are basic skills deficient.
