HIV Prevention and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) Services:
There are more than 20 STDs – including HIV infection, the virus that causes AIDS. Thousands of people in the state are known to be living with HIV/AIDS and many who may be unaware they are infected.
Confidential HIV Counseling, Rapid Testing, and Referral Services are available through the Springerville Health office by appointment.
Chlamydia and gonorrhea testing and treatment, and STD education and counseling are also available.
Testing can help find STDs before symptoms show, so treatment can be started as soon as possible.
All services are confidential. Testing fee may apply based on eligibility.
