Audrey Holt of the St. Johns Regional Chamber of Commerce and Lynnette Cross of the Springerville-Eagar Chamber of Commerce are proud to present the monument, dedicated to the many people who worked on the Wallow Fire. The two Chambers presented the information to the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 on behalf of the individuals and businesses of the communities of Southern Apache County, including Nutrioso, Alpine, Sunrise, Greer, Eagar, Springerville, Sanders, Concho and St. Johns. This monument will be presented to Apache County as an important part of the Apache County Country Fire event held on September 3rd, 2011.
