Call to the Public. 

1.  A/D Community Development: Public Hearing for consideration and possible approval of the following changes to the Apache County Zoning Ordinance.

  • Amend Section 2 of the Apache County Zoning Ordinance to include a definition for shipping containers. 
  • Add Section 730B Apache County Roof Snow Load for manufactured homes.
  • Add Section 731 shipping containers.
  • Amend Section 1302 to include policy for receiving complaints, procedures for processing complaints.

Planning and Zoning Commission recommend unanimous approval.

2.  A/D  Clerk of the Board: Request approval of an Application for Supervised Fireworks Display Permit for Alpine Fire District to be held on July 7, 2012.
 
3.  A/D  Clerk of the Board: Request approval of an Application for Supervised Fireworks Display Permit for Concho Fire Department to be held on July 4, 2012.

4.  A/d  Clerk of the Board: Request approval of a Liquor License Application for Extension of Premises Permit for John May, Ye Ol' Tavern in Alpine, Arizona on July 7, 2012, for the 2012 Worm Races. 

5.  A/D  CDBG, Malena Bazurto: Request approval of the 2012 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application process.

6.  A/D  CONSENT ITEMS: All items indicated by an asterisk (*) will be handled by a single vote as part of the consent agenda, unless a Board Member, County Manager or member of the public objects at the time the agenda item is called.
  
County Manager/Clerk of the Board:

*A.  Request approval of minutes dated May 8, 2012 and May 15, 2012.
  
*B.  Request approval of the demands.

Human Resources: 

*C.  School Superintendent's Office: Request authorization to remove Sheryl Silva from probationary status, effective May 20, 2012 with the 2.5% end of probation increase.

*D.  District II: Request authorization to hire a temporary Administrative Coordinator at $15.58 per hour, for a period of 120 days. 

7.  A/D   Election Department: Request authorization to accept and spend the 2012 funding request from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Grant in the amount of $9,804.00, which will be used to purchase BallotCall Systems from Inclusions Solutions, a sole source vendor.

8.  A/D Engineering Department: Request authorization to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement Project #AAP-13-001 and 12-003D between Apache County and Arizona Department of Transportation for design services for new asphaltic overlay and restriping of County Road 3144 from County Road 3148 to County Road 3140.  

9.  A/D Engineering Department: Request authorization to create and fill a full time GIS Program Technician (Range 34).

10.  A/D Sheriff's Office: Request authorization to fill the vacant ACCENT Coordinator position with Gaylene Kirkhorn with the salary of $30,249.00. This position is grant funded.

2.  A/D  Request approval of Intergovernmental Agreement Amendment #3 Tobacco Education and Prevention Services, replacing Action Plan and Price Sheet.

June 5, 2012

1.  A/D  Request authorization to remove the followings individuals from probation status with the 2.5% end of probation increase: Crystal Bonertz, effective May 31, 2012; Roy Barraza, effective May 15, 2012; Pam Devall, effective May 9, 2012; and Charles Shumway, effective May 21, 2012.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING AND AGENDA
APACHE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT 
HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING
June 5, 2012

1.  A/D  Request authorization to enter into an agreement with Arizona Department of Water Resources to provide one (1) year maintenance on the Wallow fire gauges and support the Arizona Flood Warning System, not to exceed $6,000.

APACHE COUNTY LIBRARY DISTRICT 
HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING
June 5, 2012

1.  A/D  Request approval of lease agreement between the Sanders Unified School District #18 and the Apache County Library District effective July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013.

2.  A/D  Request authorization to award the bid for the parking lot extension and improvement at the Concho Public Library to  Rawlings Specialty Contracting in the amount of $19,395.00 base bid and alternate #1 not to exceed $10,000 for curb and gutter.
