NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING AND AGENDA OF THE
APACHE COUNTY LIBRARY DISTRICT  
HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING
December 2, 2014

1.Discussion and possible approval for the St. Johns Public Library to donate discarded and/or donated books to the St. Johns High School for their Secret Santa program this year. 

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING AND AGENDA OF THE
APACHE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS                                             
December 2, 2014

1.  Community Development: Discussion and possible approval of a Reversion to Acreage application for Teresa Atkinson to combine lots 206 & 207 in Hacienda San Juan near St. Johns, parcels 203-50-206 and 203-50-207.  The Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved the application.

2.  Discussion and possible approval of CONSENT ITEMS: All items indicated by an asterisk (*) will be handled by a single vote as part of the consent agenda, unless a Board Member or the County Manager objects at the time the agenda item is called.
    
County Manager/Clerk of the Board:

*A.  Request approval of minutes dated November 18, 2014.

*B.  Request approval of demands dated November 18, 2014 '' December 2, 2014. Demands are payments made by the County. Specific details of the demands may be requested through the County public record request process.

County Attorney's Office:

*C.  Request approval to reimburse moving expenses in an amount not to exceed $500 per County Policy for Deputy County Attorney Jared C. Robinson.

3.  Mike Rollins, Lyman Lake State Park Ranger: Update on the Lyman Lake State Park.

4.  Recorder's Office; Discussion and possible approval of Service Project Sponsor Agreement #2015-02-237 between Americorps and Apache County. This service project award will allow an Americorps team to work on the rural addressing project from January 8, 2015 through April 9, 2015. This is a service only award, no funds will be granted to Apache County.

5.  County Manager's Office: Discussion and possible approval of a resolution and letters requesting support to State Legislators regarding 2015 Legislative Priorities.

6.  County Manager: Discussion and possible approval to appoint a Board member to serve on the Legislative Policies Committee.

7.  County Manager: Discussion and possible approval of the Board of Supervisors meeting schedule for 2015.

8.  Workforce Investment Act, Susan Tegmeyer: Discussion and possible approval for the Apache and Navajo Counties Workforce Partnership to merge program with Gila County.  

9.  County Attorney's Office; Discussion and possible approval of updated settlement agreement between Apache County and Wenima Development to resolve tax court litigation on the classification of property owned by Wenima Development.

10.  County Attorney's Office: Discussion and possible approval to increase the salary of Barbara Pearce and Yvette Greer by 2.5%, effective November 4, 2014.

11.  Notification of Small Counties Forum meeting on December 10, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel Phoenix Airport, 427 N. 44th Street, Phoenix, AZ and the County Supervisors Association meeting (CSA) on December 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. to be held at the CSA building, 1905 W. Washington Street in Phoenix where two or more members of the Apache County Board of Supervisors may be in attendance. 

12.  Call to the Public: Individuals may address the Board on any relevant issue for an amount of time determined by the Chairman. At the close of the call to the public, Board members may not respond to any comments but may respond to criticism, ask staff to review a matter, or ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda.

13.  University of Arizona Cooperative Extension Office, Joyce Alves & Mike Hauser: University of Arizona Cooperative Extension is celebrating 100 years, 1914-2014, and presenting awards to Apache County Centennial Honorees:  Leonard Isaacson, Dick Hext, Dan Heap, Ruth Patterson, Dick & Myrna Udall. Light refreshments to follow.
